It all started after a dinner with friends where we got hit with a huge bill. Elli, who has dyscalculia, was going through the bill with a pen and calculator, trying to figure out who ordered what. It was a mess and took forever.
On our way home, David turned to Elli and said, "Babe, I'm going to build an app for you that does all of this automatically so you never have to go through this again." The very next day, he built the first version of Bill AI.
When our friends saw us using it, they immediately asked, "What is this app? Can we use it too?" So we published it, and what happened next was incredible — word of mouth spread like wildfire. Within just a few weeks, we had over 1,000 users.
